Daniel is only five months old when he is taken to Oasis orphanage. There, he meets several other kids with whom he shares many adventures. When he is nine years old, he is adopted by Mrs. Jeriko, a kind and wealthy elderly woman, who begins to support him in his ambition to become a doctor. Daniel reunites with his mother at the end of the story
